Bianchi’s primary markets are law enforcement, military and sporting; its products are sold globally through dealers and distributors. Aspen International is Bianchi’s UK distributor for the whole range of products.

The company was started by John Bianchi forty-seven years ago, who was then a full time police officer in Southern California. Over the years, the company grew to worldwide prominence through its innovative holster designs and John’s ingenious, and sometimes unconventional marketing strategies. Although Bianchi retired several years ago from the company he founded, his mark is left on a wide range of increasingly diversified and unique Bianchi holsters and accessories, available worldwide. Now as then, the Bianchi vision and commitment to innovative product design and handcrafting with the utmost care from the finest materials, continue to set new standards in the industry.

Bianchi’s many patented innovations have aggressively and consistently set the pace in holster technology. It was Bianchi’s heritage and tradition in leather holsters and accessories that put the company on the map. Yet, while Bianchi’s reputation for exceptional leather products prevails, Bianchi history also includes revolutionary holster design in ballistic weave nylon and other high-performance man-made materials. Bianchi is capable of filling large order requirements on tight schedules, while employing the most advanced production and quality assurance techniques in the industry.

Not one to rest on its laurels, Bianchi continues its research and development in the synthetic and security holster arena. In 2001 Bianchi introduced the next industry advancement – AccuMold® Elite™ - a leather-look product that combines the strength and durability of synthetic, yet provides the professional, uniformed appearance of leather required by the uniformed law enforcement community - with half the weight. The company offers AccuMold® Elite™ holsters, accessories and belts.

Bianchi has continued its pursuit for improved retention while retaining a natural and fluid draw. In 2003, a significant advancement was made in weapon retention with Bianchi's new LOK™ holsters and the Auto Retention™ concept. Bianchi's Auto Retention™ provides for automatic mechanical retention when the weapon is properly holstered.

In December 2004, Bianchi International was acquired by Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems serving law enforcement, military, homeland security and commercial markets. In July 2007, BAE Systems acquired Armor Holdings and BAE Systems Products Group was formed. That acquisition created a significant opportunity to grow the business further in the United States and foreign markets. In addition, the acquisition enabled Armor Holdings' customers to benefit from the talent, business resources and technology a leading defense contractor brings to the table.

In Feburary 2005, Bianchi introduced it's new PatrolTek™ brand of duty accessories - a line of products for the professional that provide significant cost savings over premium brands, yet also offer a considerable improvement over similarly priced products on the market. Belts

LEATHER BELTS - Bianchi offers a complete line of superior quality leather belts that combine functionality and fine craftsmanship. Constructed of durable, full grain leather and the finest, corrosion-resistant hardware, their attention to detail and exclusive design features put these belts in a class all their own. Bianchi’s vat dyeing process ensures maximum color penetration that goes deep into the hide, which is then sealed to provide a lustrous satin finish. To stand up to the extra strain of carrying a holstered gun, their belts feature heavy weight cowhide that looks great and won’t crease in your back belt loop. BUCKLESS DUTY BELT – This is part of the Accumold Elite range. The belt is made from a four part laminate construction and has closed-cell form for support and comfort. There is also a positive three way rentention using hook and loop, retaining stud and belt keeper. As well as these features there is also a Duraksin exterior with loop lining. [See Product Page]

SAM BROWNE BELT – Here at Aspen International we sell a standard Sam Browne Belt and an ErgoTek Sam Browne Belt as part of the Accumold Elite Range. The ErgoTek accepts standard holsters and pouches. The load support cushions on the belt lining which spreads the weight of the gear over the entire waist. The belt also provides a padded buffer between the stiff outer belt, accessories and the wearer. The same as the Buckless Duty belt there is also a Duraksin exterior with loop lining. NYLON DUTY BELT – We also sell the Nylon Duty Belt and ErgoTek Nylon Duty Belt as part of the Accumold product range. The ErgoTek belt has a ballaistic weave five part laminate for durability. As the Sam Browne belt the load support cushions on the belt lining which spreads the weight of the gear over the entire waist. The belt accepts standard holsters and pouches as well as having a Coplok shatter-resistant, polymer buckle with features a 3-point release for added security. [See Product Page]
