Description: From scope rings to action screws, consistency and accuracy of tightening torque are important factors to consider in order to keep your guns in their best shape. Scopes can be severely damaged if rings are tightened considerably above or below the torque specs, and your rifle is likely not going to shoot well if actions screws tightening torque values are not controlled. Borka Tools multi torque settings drivers address these potential issues with ease, confidence and at a moderate cost. The Borka tools come in 6, 12 & 24 settings. 6 Torque Settings Driver Borka driver with 6 torque settings is a basic configuration of this unique tool, which allows the user to select one of these settings by simply inserting the hex bit holder into appropriate driver arm socket from any side. Driver operation is based on use of pre-set tightening force, which is applied, in this case, at one of the 6 fixed distances between vector of the force and axis of hex bit holder rotation. When tightening force, applied by the user to the approximate middle of the handle finger groove, exceeds pre-set value, handle disengages the arm lock and pivots out of the way, effectively cancelling further torque application and preventing over-tightening. It is important to note that torque accuracy, consistency and functionality of this driver are not affected by presence or lack of lubrication. |
